Internship in Zebrafish retinal development
Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Neurobiology
Prof. Jaworski’s Laboratory is looking for highly motivated and talented trainees/students who are willing to do internship on unraveling molecular mechanisms of mTOR kinase in neurons in vivo within the SONATA project 2015/17/D/NZ3/03735 awarded by the National Science Centre. The laboratory is located in the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw (www.iimcb.gov.pl) – one of the top ranked Polish research institutes.
We offer the unique opportunity to learn to work with the Zebrafish model animal. The project include studying the development of Zebrafish retinal neurons in time with the use of highly advanced microscopy methods.

The application should include cover letter, CV with candidate’s research achievements, university scores, average overall mark and marks for candidate’s bachelor degree, and contact information to at least one referee. Only selected candidates will be invited for an interview. The trainee will be selected from candidates in an open competition, according to the procedure complying the rules for hiring in research projects funded by the National Science Centre (NCN Council Resolution No. 96/2016 from October 27, 2016).
