Laboratory of Protein Metabolism in Development and Aging
Laboratory of Protein Metabolism in Development and Aging at the International Institute for Molecular and Cell Biology (IIMCB), Warsaw, headed by Wojciech Pokrzywa, is seeking productive and highly motivated Postdoc to join a project that will address how the ubiquitin-proteasome system modulates the methionine metabolism, methylation potential of the cell and epigenetic memory using C. elegans as an animal model. In addition, the proposed research will have broad implications for the understanding of methionine metabolism regulation in health and disease, and proteostasis mechanisms in general. The project "The regulation of methionine metabolism by the ubiquitin-proteasome system” is carried out as the FIRST TEAM programme of the Foundation for Polish Science.
We strongly encourage applications from candidates interested in a long-term collaboration, possibly in the role of a senior scientist.
