Laboratory of Cell Biology
The Laboratory of Cell Biology headed by Prof. Marta Miączyńska is seeking for a PhD student for the OPUS grant (National Science Centre) entitled: “The impact of intracellular distribution and endocytic transport of lymphotoxin β receptor (LTβR) on its signaling”. The project, led by Dr. Magdalena Banach-Orłowska, aims to elucidate the endocytic routes responsible for lymphotoxin β receptor internalization and intracellular trafficking as well as to determine a relationship between endocytosis and LTβR mediated signaling. The experimental work planned for the PhD student will involve mostly microscopy, biochemical, and molecular biology techniques.
The project will start on March 31st 2017 and will last for 3 years. The PhD student will be awarded a stipend of 3000 PLN net/month.
Requirements for candidates:
1. Master degree in biology or biotechnology
2. Experience in laboratory work in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry (at least one of the listed fields)
3. High motivation and passion for experimental work
4. Teamwork skills
5. Good command of English
