Laboratory of Zebrafish Developmental Genomics

The Laboratory of Zebrafish Developmental Genomics headed by Cecilia L. Winata, invites application from motivated and talented individuals for the position of ‘Research technician’. The selected candidate will be working on the NCN Polonez project titled “Genomic profiling of cardiac pacemaker cells”.

Requirements:

Experience in molecular biology, cell culture, or biochemistry is highly desirable. Bachelors or Masters students with previous lab experience and interest in genomics and genome engineering are also encouraged to apply. Additionally, candidate should be able to communicate fluently in English.

We offer the chance to work in a team of young and friendly scientists with interests in developmental biology, and regulatory genomics. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with the zebrafish model animal, applying state of the art techniques like next generation sequencing, CRISPR and lightsheet microscopy.

The contract will be for 1 year with possibility of extension.
