POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP

Laboratory of Protein Structure

Post

Laboratory of Protein Structure seeks  Postdoctoral Fellow to study Biochemical and Structural Evolution of Reverse Transcriptases. Postdoctoral  fellowship is funded in frame of National Science Centre OPUS grant.

It aims to determine the structures of  reverse transcriptases and to elucidate their  functional mechanism. The experimental work will involve production of protein using different expression systems, purification of proteins,  crystallization and structure determination as well as biochemical studies on reverse transcription.

Laboratory Interest

Research of Laboratory of Protein Structure focuses on structural and biochemical studies of nucleic acid enzymes using protein crystallography as a primary method.
