Project title: Deciphering the molecular mechanism of action of the ubiquitin ligase complexes
Project description: The project combines genetics, biochemistry molecular and structural biology. It aims to determine the mechanism of action of ubiquitin ligases involved in protein homeostasis. It is a joint project of Dr. Marcin Nowotny (structural biology) and Dr. Wojciech Pokrzywa (genetics, biochemistry).

Key responsibilities include:
The production of protein using different expression systems, purification of  proteins,  biochemical studies and structure determination by crystallography and cryo-EM. Additionally, worm genetics will be used in the project.

Profile of candidates/requirements:
1. Solid knowledge and documented laboratory experience in at least one of the following disciplines: structural biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics
2. Very good command of English (oral and written)
3. Motivation and passion for experimental work
